And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. Alicourts is a family run site that is perfect if you are looking for a holiday that is a little off the beaten track. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte this park has some great facilities and you will find lots of organised activities to keep the children amused. There is an imaginative adventure play area which is conveniently overlooked by the bar terrace and an excellent pool complex with waterslides. Swimming in the large lake is allowed or if you want something more leisurely then you can hire a pedalo. You can also relax on the sandy lakeside beach and you will find that the beach bar has some outstanding views across the lake and pool complex. On the park there is also a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a Balneo therapy wellness centre, including sauna, massage, Turkish bath and hydro-massage.

Holiday Green is a well maintained site with a large Californian pool complex which is great fun for all the family and includes a children's pool with water games. It also has a new covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and Jacuzzi. Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for elderly customers or those with mobility problems.
