Camping Internacional de Calonge is set on a hillside overlooking the sweeping bay of Palamos. This is a well run and lively site, with modern facilities and beautiful beach on the doorstep. The pitches are located on terraces at the top of the site, separated by small shrubs and with some shade from the mature trees. In high season, young children will love the tractor train that takes you to the pitches from the bottom of the site. There is plenty going on to keep the whole family amused, with activities and evening entertainment most days in high season. The pool complex, with two full sized pools and a separate children's pool, is surrounded by an extensive terrace. Unwind with a cooling drink from the adjacent bar, and enjoy the superb views of the coast.

Located on the golden coastline of the Costa Dorada this large campsite has plenty to keep the whole family entertained. At the heart of the site sits the pretty pool complex ? a great spot for either sunbathing or splashing around in the water. The site has two toddler pools so that little ones can play in safety. While there?s plenty to do onsite you won?t want to miss out on the great things in the surrounding area. As well as the fantastic city of Barcelona to explore, Tarragona is well worth a visit too. Our emplacements are located in a quiet area of the campsite away from the main facilities, just a short walk from the beach. Unwind on the grassy sunbathing terrace by the pool with a refreshing drink from the caf?, or head to the beach where you will find the restaurant and the bar. Relax on the terrace to the sound of the waves while you sip your sangria and enjoy the delicious freshly caught seafood. A train station is conveniently located close to the campsite, ideal for exploring the local area (some noise may be heard from the emplacements).

Many outdoor activities are available and there's a mini zoo. With Barcelona only a short drive away, this park is ideal for a city break. A visit to Port Aventura, with its new Caribbean themed water park, Costa Caribe, is another must for all the family.

The roads on the site are lined with palm trees and pampas grass, and the pitches are located near to the first class facilities, of which the lagoon style pool complex is undoubtedly the focal point. Soak up the atmosphere on the grassy terrace, or enjoy a cooling short swim across to the bar in the centre of the pool, while the children have fun on the small waterslides. There is also a second pool complex on site, popular with young children for its dragon waterslide and life sized elephants that squirt water. In the evening sample a delicious Spanish speciality or mouth watering pizza from the on site restaurant, relax and enjoy the lively family orientated entertainment.

The central avenue at Camping Park Playa Bara is lined with palm trees, colourful flowers and cool ceramic tiled benches and leads to a beautiful sandy beach. The attractive pool complex is an excellent place to relax. Unwind in the jacuzzi or under a palm tree on the spacious sun terrace then enjoy a refreshing drink from the pool side bar. In the evenings, the site comes alive. Sample a delicious meal and tempting ice cream in the attractive walled courtyard of the on site restaurant, then head for the open air amphitheatre where the lively entertainment continues until midnight. Night owls can dance the night away at the site's own underground disco. Please note that noise from the nearby train line and road may be heard from the pitches.

Camping Cypsela is not so much a park, more an entire holiday complex. Situated within a pine wooded area, the park is just over a mile from the beach of Playa de Pals. The large pool complex, with its waterfall, sun-terrace and open air bar, is like that of a luxury hotel. Teenagers can enjoy a wide range of sports, whilst the adventure play area and indoor children's activity centre will be popular with younger children. The park rules are fairly strictly enforced. Particularly suited to families with young children, this large but exclusive park is one of Spain's best. The pool complex is a real showpiece and there are all sorts of sports to enjoy, as well as a wide range of activities organised for children by the 'Cypsy Club'. Most of the many amenities are open throughout the season, including a restaurant and relaxing terrace bar, which overlooks one of the children's play-areas. There is also a weekly disco in low season, with bands and disco nights in peak season, which are always incredibly popular. A hands-on management style ensures immaculate washing facilities and an orderly park; however the park remains relaxed and friendly. Beyond the park itself are miles and miles of unspoilt countryside and a short drive takes you to the small town of Playa de Pals, where there is a long, sandy beach and small select cafes.

The park itself is picturesquely situated on a steep hillside close to a beautiful sandy cove. In addition to a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, it offers you fine views of the Mediterranean from the bar terrace, a good restaurant, excellent take-away, well-stocked supermarket and two excellent pools. All of the pitches are on terraces, some quite steep, and some with stunning views over the bay of nearby Palamós, and with some enjoying the shade. The superb beach nearby is safely accessible via some quite steep steps and a footbridge over the busy coast road: and there is even a little tractor-train to pick you up around the park and take you down to the footbridge. Yet while everything you need is right here in the park, many people particularly teenagers like to seek out evening entertainment by taking a stroll into the lively and fashionable resort of Playa d'Aro.
