Despite the all round splendor of its facilities, it is the Niagara pool complex, which opens from mid June to the end of August, that really takes your breath away. This fantastic complex is great fun; you are entitled to free access at certain times, so check with your courier on park for dates and times. Once you've splashed about to your heart's content, there are many other activities to try here, and if you're feeling particularly energetic there's a nightly disco in high season.

The pitches at Camping la Pachacaid sit on steep terraces up the hillside with many offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities here are modern and well kept; there is a restaurant with an outdoor terrace and a bar, the location for the nightly entertainment in high season. The Niagara water park is located at the centre of the site and comprises of five pools (including one just for the children) and seven twisting waterslides, which wind through the pine trees. Relax on the sunbathing terrace, or indulge in a soothing jacuzzi or Turkish bath.

This family run site offers is a well equipped park set on a pretty wooded hillside in the Provencal countryside. A short drive from St Tropez and the beaches of the Riviera coast, but you will find this site is pleasantly insulated from the bustle of the Riviera. Despite the all-round splendour of its facilities, it is the Niagara pool complex, which opens mid June to end of August that really takes your breath away. A fantastic complex of pools, waterslides, jacuzzi (you should check when booking whether you will have free access). The site runs over a quite steep hillside and may be unsuitable for young children or those with walking difficulties, however, most pitches are on terraces with lovely views, and during high season site staff organise sports activities and lively evening entertainment. The site is 11km from the beach at Canadel.
