If you're in the mood for relaxing, there are two swimming pools, waterslides, a restaurant and pizzeria offering a variety of meals and a charming terrace on which to enjoy a leisurely drink. In high summer, there are activities for both adults and children, including indoor and outdoor discos. Yet it would be a shame not to sample some of the many outdoor activities on offer in the region. With rambling, horse-riding, river fishing, rafting, bungee jumping, and more besides, the choices really are endless.
Holiday Green at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
Holiday Green is a well maintained site with a large Californian pool complex which is great fun for all the family and includes a children's pool with water games. It also has a new covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and Jacuzzi. To keep the kids happy, a whole range of activities are held throughout the season and there are aqua aerobics, water polo and water volleyball tournament and in July and August swimming lessons, fun water-skiing and even deep-sea diving instruction. The park has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, fitness room, tennis court, boules pitch, archery and mountain biking. There is also free evening entertainment and themed restaurant nights. Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for elderly customers or those with mobility problems.
Les Sablons at Portiragnes Plage, Languedoc
The holiday park is very pleasant with great facilities and direct access to a broad stretch of fine, sandy beach. Les Sablons is just half a mile from the popular resort of Portiragnes-Plage. The pool complex has swimming and children's pool with great water slides, and of course sun terraces in pleasant grounds.
