The owners have kept to the traditional Vendeen style with the park buildings have been built in traditional style. The spacious bar has a relaxed atmosphere. The grassy pitches are bordered with low hedgerows or small trees providing some privacy. The swimming pool complex has a water chute and waterslides, surrounded by spacious sun terraces.

Camping le Bois de Valmarie is a relaxed campsite, unwind here with a refreshing drink from the snack bar, while the children have hours of fun whizzing down the water chutes in the three lagoon style pools linked by waterfalls. The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

The high quality facilities include a wonderful pool complex with three swimming pools, water-slides and a heated children's pool. Best of all, everything is kept absolutely immaculate. Surrounded by lush green countryside the park enjoys plenty of shade from established trees and even has its own charming little lake, which is a popular spot for fishing. The owners arrange a variety of traditional entertainment throughout the season too, including live bands and weekly discos in high season. And as well as all the other attractions of the Dordogne, both Salignac and Sarlat are just a short drive away.
