L'Atlantique's centrepiece is undoubtedly the swimming pool complex, which has a new covered pool, jacuzzi and health and beauty centre in addition to large waterslides and spectacular pools. You will also be equally impressed by the authentic fishing boat in the play area and the ocean-themed mini golf. In peak season, the owners organise competitions, sports, evening entertainment and discos and they have also created some pitches bordered by hedges, as well as clean, modern toilet blocks. With a lovely beach right on its doorstep, l'Atlantique enjoys an idyllic setting too, ideal for families with children. The walk to the beach even takes you across a stream and through a nature reserve with all kinds of wildlife and you will also find plenty of places to dine nearby.

This quiet park really is ideal for young families, with the choice of a family swimming pool or children's pool complete with its own mini water slide and water chute. Les Mouettes is situated near one of the most beautiful bays on the Breton coast. Carantec has a feeling of peace and spaciousness that makes it a popular choice with families. Mature trees and shrubs enhance the park area where most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded but, there are also some large, sunny pitches. One of the main attractions is the impressive swimming pool complex overlooked by the bar terrace, where the children will enjoy floating along the lazy river surrounding the huge water chutes. They can also try their hand at the unusual 18-hole crazy-golf course, not forgetting the beach is just 1.5km away. The picturesque old port of Roscoff is near by and offers boat trips to the island of Batz.

Perhaps the most notable things about this excellent modern park are its large, spacious pitches, some of which are surrounded by hedges to offer privacy. The pool complex features both a water chute and a four lane waterslide, with a new covered pool planned for 2010. If you're feeling more energetic, you can try a game of tennis, volleyball or even basketball, and in high summer the park owners organise evening entertainment in the bar, which overlooks the newly extended pool. Beyond the park, a short stroll along a shady track brings you to a safe, sandy beach and should you feel the urge to explore further, the coastline has many sandy inlets and tiny harbours to discover. You could also make the short drive to the village of Nevez, with its small selection of shops and bars.

Le Mane Guernehue at Baden

Le Mane Guernehue is a family-run site, one and a half miles from Baden and near to the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan. Excellent facilities, although at the top of a fairly steep hill, include a swimming pool with waterslides,jacuzzi, sauna, bar and restaurant. The family will enjoy relaxing at the south facing beaches or exploring the rock pools and coves just four miles away at ÃŽle aux Moines. During July and August the campsite staff organise daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family.

The original stone buildings have been converted to house the bar and restaurant. A fantastic new pool complex with waterslides opened in 2008 and includes a balneo spa and hydrotherapy centre. Awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, this family run park has great facilities including a superb pool complex, with waterslides, spa, jacuzzi and indoor pool. There's also an impressive new health and beauty centre, which is ideal if you fancy a bit of pampering. For the livelier there are popular discos, organised by the park owners. Nearby Benodet is well worth a visit, with its multitude of promenade cafes, creperies and restaurants. Les Ormes also offers you an extensive range of good facilities, together with an even more impressive range of activities. Golf and riding take pride of place on the sporting agenda however, as the park has its own 18 hole course, complete with an exclusive clubhouse for golfers and horse riding school offering rides for all ages and treks for all abilities.
