Le Mane Guernehue is a family-run site, one and a half miles from Baden and near to the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan. Excellent facilities, although at the top of a fairly steep hill, include a swimming pool with waterslides,jacuzzi, sauna, bar and restaurant. The family will enjoy relaxing at the south facing beaches or exploring the rock pools and coves just four miles away at ÃƒÆ’Ã…Â½le aux Moines. During July and August the campsite staff organise daytime and evening entertainment for the whole family.
La Foret at St Julien des Landes
Just a 10 minute walk from St Julien-des-Landes, this park has a peaceful, rural setting in the parklands of a chateau. Catering for the whole family there is plenty of space for the children to play, and two pools set either side of the chateau. There are 3 lakes for fishing and you will find the bar and many of the park facilities in an attractively converted ivy-clad stables.
Les Chateau des Marais at Chambord
With spacious grounds set in peaceful wooded surroundings, this is an ideal venue for families with young children. The park has excellent facilities including a great pool complex with waterslides, a lazy river, a covered pool and a spacious sun terrace. An indoor spa, jaccuzi and Turkish bath with massage are available. The restaurant, take-away and shop have all been built of local oak to blend in with the surroundings. Some noise may be heard from the nearby road. The site is a five minute walk from the village of Muides-sur-Loire.
Parc des Alicourts at Pierrefitte
Alicourts is a family run site that is perfect if you are looking for a holiday that is a little off the beaten track. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte this park has some great facilities and you will find lots of organised activities to keep the children amused. There is an imaginative adventure play area which is conveniently overlooked by the bar terrace and an excellent pool complex with waterslides. Swimming in the large lake is allowed or if you want something more leisurely then you can hire a pedalo. You can also relax on the sandy lakeside beach and you will find that the beach bar has some outstanding views across the lake and pool complex. On the park there is also a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a Balneo therapy wellness centre, including sauna, massage, Turkish bath and hydro-massage.
La Cote de Nacre at St Aubin-sur-Mer
A family-run site on the outskirts of the resort of St Aubin-sur-Mer. The nearest beach is 500m away and the flat countryside makes this area ideal for exploring by bike. With mordern and well maintained facilities, La Cote de Nacre has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Camping le Chatelet at St Cast
Camping le Chatelet is a gem, set amidst rolling heath land with breathtaking sea views. Some of our terraced grassy emplacements look across the bay, and seawards to the ancient hilltop Fort la Latte. The site is small and beautiful and has been carefully developed to make the most of its setting. The small pool is a sun-trap; surrounded by hedges and fragrant flowers; you can relax on the sun terrace soaking up the peaceful surroundings. At the centre of the site is a picturesque small lake, a tranquil oasis for relaxing, or watching the local wildlife. The spacious bar offers excellent views across the bay and is the venue for weekly high season entertainment including family disco nights and karaoke.
La Pointe St Gilles at Benodet
An award winning family park, with a small beach just outside the entrance and the resort of Benodet just 15 minutes walk away. The park has great facilities including an impressive brand new pool complex, with indoor pool, waterslides, spa and jacuzzi. There's also a good supermarket and a convenient take-away for trouble-free catering. Family entertainment is organised during July and August. This site is especially popular with families that have younger children and included with the mini fun station are toddler swimming lessons. A member of the 'Castels' group, Ty Nadan offers excellent facilities, not least of which are three outdoor pools, an indoor pool and spa with an impressive waterslide and twisting water chute. With an indoor complex for badminton and rock climbing this park is perfect for active families, with evening entertainment for everyone organised throughout the season. Its wooded parkland setting is ideal for exploring on foot or on horseback and more energetic activities such as river canoeing, sea kayaking and guided mountain bike tours are also available. Despite these varied activities it's still a relaxing setting. In fact, in early and late summer the park is especially suited to those wanting a quiet holiday with small children and having direct access to the sandy banks of the river Elle it really comes into its own.

There's also a superb outdoor pool with waterslide, as well as an indoor pool and a fountain that children always seem to love. In the evening, you can have a relaxing drink in the bar, which is also the scene of regular family discos in high season, or perhaps enjoy a meal in the equally pleasant restaurant. There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.
Camping de I' Atlantique at Fouesnant
The bar and terrace at Camping de l'Atlantique overlook the pools allowing you to keep an eye on the youngsters as they whiz down the slides. The lively bar hosts a variety of entertainment in high season, including karaoke, magic shows and a weekly disco. Young children have a great time on site, exploring the fishing boat in the play area, or playing mini-golf on the Wizard of Oz course. Although lively in high season the site is much quieter in May and June making it ideal for young families. A path leads you through cool pine trees and over dunes to a fine sandy beach.

Situated in Normandy, La Vallee has a glorious rural setting and is not far from a sandy beach and the Edwardian seaside town of Houlgate. This pretty park is scattered with flowering hedges and fruit trees, with some of the excellent facilities.
