While small and relatively quiet, it offers you a lovely swimming pool with a small water slide as well as a super Scandinavian style play area, all of which makes it especially suited to families with young children. Don't forget your fishing rod either, as you're welcome to try your luck on the little lake, free of charge. Ideal for young families, the friendly owners work extremely hard to make your stay here enjoyable.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

This area of France is famous for its oysters and potatoes and there are many restaurants scattered through the islands villages where you can enjoy the authentic dishes. For the more energetic, the waters of Ile De Re are great for water sports enthusiasts where you can enjoy windsurfing, sailing and yachting. There are over 60 miles of adapted cycle tracks, which link all of the beaches and main villages; you can really enjoy this magnificent island and its slower pace of living to the full.

Alicourts is a family run site that is perfect if you are looking for a holiday that is a little off the beaten track. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte this park has some great facilities and you will find lots of organised activities to keep the children amused. There is an imaginative adventure play area which is conveniently overlooked by the bar terrace and an excellent pool complex with waterslides. Swimming in the large lake is allowed or if you want something more leisurely then you can hire a pedalo. You can also relax on the sandy lakeside beach and you will find that the beach bar has some outstanding views across the lake and pool complex. On the park there is also a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a Balneo therapy wellness centre, including sauna, massage, Turkish bath and hydro-massage.
