La Pointe St Gilles at Benodet
With a small beach just outside the entrance and the bustling resort of Benodet a lovely coastal walk away, this park offers you the best of both worlds. Awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, this family run park has great facilities including a superb pool complex, with waterslides, spa, jacuzzi and indoor pool. There's also an impressive new health and beauty centre, which is ideal if you fancy a bit of pampering. For the livelier there are popular discos, organised by the park owners. Nearby Benodet is well worth a visit, with its multitude of promenade cafes, creperies and restaurants. And if you want to discover Brittany's historic and rustic charms, they're also within easy to reach from here.
Le Clarys Plage at St Jean Plage
The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
Les Mouettes at Carantec
Les Mouettes is situated near one of the most beautiful bays on the Breton coast. Carantec has a feeling of peace and spaciousness that makes it a popular choice with families. Mature trees and shrubs enhance the park area where most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded but, there are also some large, sunny pitches. One of the main attractions is the impressive swimming pool complex overlooked by the bar terrace, where the children will enjoy floating along the lazy river surrounding the huge water chutes. They can also try their hand at the unusual 18-hole crazy-golf course, not forgetting the beach is just 1.5km away. The picturesque old port of Roscoff is near by and offers boat trips to the island of Batz.
Camping de I' Atlantique at Fouesnant
The bar and terrace at Camping de l'Atlantique overlook the pools allowing you to keep an eye on the youngsters as they whiz down the slides. The lively bar hosts a variety of entertainment in high season, including karaoke, magic shows and a weekly disco. Young children have a great time on site, exploring the fishing boat in the play area, or playing mini-golf on the Wizard of Oz course. Although lively in high season the site is much quieter in May and June making it ideal for young families. A path leads you through cool pine trees and over dunes to a fine sandy beach.

A firm favourite with young families, Les Ecureuils could hardly be better positioned, with a wide beach just across the road, where golden sands stretch for miles. Les Ecureuils is a family run, really attractive, well-kept park too, landscaped with trees, hedges and flowers. There's also a superb outdoor pool with waterslide, as well as an indoor pool and a fountain that children always seem to love. In the evening, you can have a relaxing drink in the bar, which is also the scene of regular family discos in high season, or perhaps enjoy a meal in the equally pleasant restaurant. There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.
Domaine de Dugny at Onzain
The park is situated between Blois and Amboise and provides a perfect base for exploring the many beautiful chateaux of the Loire Valley. The beautiful lake offers fishing, relaxing and pedalos; while the pool complex has fantastic slides as well heated children's area. Entertainment is catered for with the children's clubs during the day and evening shows including a monthly themed evening with meal and entertainment. With all the activities available on the park you will have a fun packed holiday at Domaine du Dugny.
Domaine de Litteau at Litteau
The tranquil feel of this area will suit families and couples looking for a quieter holiday - it's particularly good for families with toddlers as the park itself is quiet and safe.Â Plus, Normandy is simple to reach from the UK.Â Hope on the fast craft from Portsmouth and you can reach the park from Caen in around 45 minutes - hardly enough time to ask are we there yet?
Yelloh Village le Littoral at Les Sables-d'Olonne
The campsite is situated next to a grassy headland with rock pools and coastal paths to explore. The facilities on site are superb and include a fantastic pool complex, which offers an outdoor pool with a large sun terrace, waterslides and jacuzzi, as well as a heated indoor pool. In high season families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment in the campsite bar or take one of the excursions to local attractions, such as the picturesque port of Pornic and the island nature reserve of Ile de Re. Please note that some noise from a nearby road may be heard from some of the pitches.
Ty Nadan at Arzano
Ty Nadan offers excellent facilities, not least of which are three outdoor pools, an indoor pool and spa with an impressive waterslide and twisting water chute. With an indoor complex for badminton and rock climbing this park is perfect for active families, with evening entertainment for everyone organised throughout the season. Its wooded parkland setting is ideal for exploring on foot or on horseback and more energetic activities such as river canoeing, sea kayaking and guided mountain bike tours are also available. Despite these varied activities it's still a relaxing setting. In fact, in early and late summer the park is especially suited to those wanting a quiet holiday with small children and having direct access to the sandy banks of the river Elle it really comes into it's own.
Le Pin Parasol at Lac de Jaunay
Le Pin Parasol is situated in?gorgeous woodland on the banks of Lake Jaunay, where fishing, canoeing and pedaloing are popular with the parc guests. The site itself is immaculate and boasts a great swimming pool with giant waterslides, a tennis court and large play areas. There's plenty to do for both children and adults with a lively animation programme. Top-class facilities include a popular bar, as well as the on-site take-away and bakery, and off parc, attractions such as Puy de Fou and Les Sables d'Olonne are very easy to get to.
La Yole at St Jean Plage
Offering an array of swimming pools that includes an indoor pool, waterslide, paddling pool and spacious play area, this is very much a park for families. The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce. And should you just want to explore, you'll find that the whole area is covered with fragrant pine forests.
La Vallee at Houlgate
Situated in Normandy, La Vallee has a glorious rural setting and is not far from a sandy beach and the Edwardian seaside town of Houlgate. This pretty park is scattered with flowering hedges and fruit trees, with some of the excellent facilities. At the heart of site is a beautifully converted Norman manor house in which you will find a bar that overlooks the pool complex. In addition to the pools, one with a new slide, and well-equipped play area, there is an the park entertainment team who arrange a wide variety of activities for the whole family, including discos in the games room and Karaoke nights. Please note that some train noise can be heard in some areas.
Chateau le Brevedent at Pont L'Eveque
Chateau le Brevedent nestles in the orchards surrounding the lake and overlooked by the chateau itself. It is a glorious setting for a family holiday, a well run park with immaculate facilities where you will receive a very warm welcome from the friendly Anglo-French owner who gives the park a special feel. The stunning location in the heart of Calvados Country isn't the only reason this 'Castels' park is in demand, it offers every diversion, from excursions to Paris, to a spot of lake fishing. Of course, you are also within easy reach of super beaches, picturesque Norman villages and some quite exquisite countryside, so much to see and do in this much favoured region of France.
Les Chateau des Marais at Chambord
With spacious grounds set in peaceful wooded surroundings, this is an ideal venue for families with young children. The park has excellent facilities including a great pool complex with waterslides, a lazy river, a covered pool and a spacious sun terrace. An indoor spa, jaccuzi and Turkish bath with massage are available. The restaurant, take-away and shop have all been built of local oak to blend in with the surroundings. Some noise may be heard from the nearby road. The site is a five minute walk from the village of Muides-sur-Loire.

This beautiful parc, located in one of the best seasideÂ resorts of the Vendee, offers both a relaxing retreat together with a lively break. Le Bois Dormant feels spacious and well-thought out.Â The holiday homes are spaced out across the parc, but not too far away from the hub of activity around the pool and restaurant area. The outdoor pool complex offers something for everyone, from a main swimming pool, to waterslides, a toddler splash pool and even a spa bath.

This is a beautifully landscaped site, with emplacements set amongst majestic pine trees and giant boulders. Children will love the tropical-style pool complex with its multiple waterslides and fountains, overlooked by the bar terrace. In addition to the pool there is a luxury spa. An old Breton barn houses the popular restaurant and creperie which offers a tremendous choice of crepes and locally brewed cider. Take a walk along the Smugglers Path which runs for miles along the coast and offers superb views and beaches.

Overlooking the complex is the bright and attractive bar area, housed in a white washed, terracotta tiled building typical of the Vendee. Relax here with a refreshing drink, whilst the children splash around in the water. In high season families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment including discos, bingo and karaoke. Children will love playing at the well equipped play area or in the large games room with pool table and computer games.

Take time to explore the myriad coastal paths around St Cast, a popular holiday centre of its own with a famous sandy beach and of course St Malo's historic walled centre with some fine restaurants and cr?peries.

At Camping la Garangeoire nestled in the woodland are very spacious, grassy pitches which have some shade and offer privacy. The quiet surroundings of the on site lake are ideal for a spot of boating or fishing. There is plenty here to keep the children happy too, a great pool complex with waterslides, a playroom and archery to name a few. Evenings here are spent at the convivial bar and restaurant, housed in the outbuildings of the chateau, some entertainment is on offer in high season.

Le Ranolien is really quite stunning. Colourful hedges and trees blend into the pink granite boulders of the coastline, which allows for some highly individual pitches, as well as easy access to nearby beaches. The owners are continually investing in park facilities, including a mini-cinema and there is a magnificent pool complex which features an impressive array of outdoor pools and water-slides, including a covered, heated pool that's available throughout the season. There is a state of the art spa on site providing a wide range of treatments ready when you need a little extra pampering and relaxing. Away from the site there is an excellent choice of beaches ranging from rocky inlets to sandy coves. Some traffic noise can be heard from certain parts of the park.
