L'Orangie de Lanniron at Quimper
The original stone buildings have been converted to house the bar and restaurant. A fantastic new pool complex with waterslides opened in 2008 and includes a balneo spa and hydrotherapy centre. Customers can explore the park and gardens at leisure and children have acres of woods and meadows to play in, with activities organised for them in peak season. The sports centre, Creach Gwen, adjacent to the site offers a wide range of high season activities, including water sports for the more energetic. This park is the perfect place to relax, unwind and get away from it all. The pool complex has something for everyone including indoor and outdoor pool areas, as well as a shallow area for toddlers. Alicourts is a family run site that is perfect if you are looking for a holiday that is a little off the beaten track. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte this park has some great facilities and you will find lots of organised activities to keep the children amused. There is an imaginative adventure play area which is conveniently overlooked by the bar terrace and an excellent pool complex with waterslides. Swimming in the large lake is allowed or if you want something more leisurely then you can hire a pedalo. You can also relax on the sandy lakeside beach and you will find that the beach bar has some outstanding views across the lake and pool complex. On the park there is also a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a Balneo therapy wellness centre, including sauna, massage, Turkish bath and hydro-massage.
Yello Village Cote de Nacre at St Aubin-sur-Mer
Within 1/2 a mile of a sandy beach Cote de Nacre is a site with plenty to do including a tropical pool complex with swimming pool, water slides and chutes. There is a covered pool which is heated and a childrens splash pool. For those looking to relax there is a sauna and Hammam, There is a playground for smaller children and organised activities for children aged 7-10 years from mid July to August. For older children there is table tennis and table football as well as outdoor fun including a synthetic outdoor ice rink, multi sport pitch for football, basketball, volleyball and tennis. There is a bar, restaurant, takeaway on site. There is evening entertainment from mid July to August including weekly disco, live music, quizzes and karaoke.
Les Mouettes at Carantec
Les Mouettes is situated near one of the most beautiful bays on the Breton coast. Carantec has a feeling of peace and spaciousness that makes it a popular choice with families. Mature trees and shrubs enhance the park area where most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded but, there are also some large, sunny pitches. One of the main attractions is the impressive swimming pool complex overlooked by the bar terrace, where the children will enjoy floating along the lazy river surrounding the huge water chutes. They can also try their hand at the unusual 18-hole crazy-golf course, not forgetting the beach is just 1.5km away. The picturesque old port of Roscoff is near by and offers boat trips to the island of Batz.
Les Deux Fontaines at Raguenes
Perhaps the most notable things about this excellent modern park are its large, spacious pitches, some of which are surrounded by hedges to offer privacy. The pool complex features both a water chute and a four lane waterslide, with a new covered pool planned for 2010. If you're feeling more energetic, you can try a game of tennis, volleyball or even basketball, and in high summer the park owners organise evening entertainment in the bar, which overlooks the newly extended pool. Beyond the park, a short stroll along a shady track brings you to a safe, sandy beach and should you feel the urge to explore further, the coastline has many sandy inlets and tiny harbours to discover. You could also make the short drive to the village of Nevez, with its small selection of shops and bars.
Le Littoral at Sables d'Olonne
Le Littoral is just a mile from the nearest beach with gently sloping sands. The park has a popular outdoor and covered pool. The park bar is the centre for daily entertainment in high season. The site is a short path walk from a rocky cove where children are able to spend hours searching for shell fish. In high season you can take the free bus service which runs all day long between the campsite, the beach and the famous resort of Les Sables d'Olonne.

La Garangeoire at St Julien des Landes
La Garangeoire is without a doubt one of the most prestigious members of the Castels chain. It offers you a breathtakingly beautiful setting amongst woods, meadows and lakes, yet still manages to be just a 15 minute drive from the superb Vendee beaches. The estate contains generous, mainly un-shaded pitches and you are welcome to explore a number of delightful well marked walks. There's just so much to do here, from tennis, which is free in early and late summer, to fishing and boating on the lake. Why not enjoy an evening in the modern restaurant and bar overlooking the superb pool, or a quiet drink in the cosy pub style bar which is located in the tastefully converted outbuildings of the chateau.
Camping l'Oceano d'Or at Jard-sur-Mer
Set in unspoilt countryside, this attractive, well kept campsite has grassy pitches bordered by low hedges and small trees providing some privacy. The large swimming pool complex has a spacious sun terrace overlooked by the bar, with two fun waterslides and a heated children's pool. There are plenty of sporting activities to suit all ages, including tennis, basketball, football and bike hire. In high season the campsite organise a lively entertainment programme including live music and discos. The closest beach is at Jard-sur-Mer where you can also find a good selection of shops, restaurants and water sports in high season.

Parc des Alicourts offers plenty to do within its spacious grounds. There are masses of organised activities for children, as well as an imaginative adventure play area overlooked by the bar terrace. The excellent pool complex with waterslides and a recreation building for fun and games is not to be missed. Adults are well catered for, with a Balneo therapy wellness centre, including massage, sauna, hydro-massage and Turkish bath. Customers staying in early summer for 3 days or more get 1 free session. There's a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a large, clean lake with sandy beach, canoes and pedalos, you won't want to leave the park. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte, you are still within easy reach of many of the Loire's most elegant chateaux.
Camping de I' Atlantique at Fouesnant
The bar and terrace at Camping de l'Atlantique overlook the pools allowing you to keep an eye on the youngsters as they whiz down the slides. The lively bar hosts a variety of entertainment in high season, including karaoke, magic shows and a weekly disco. Young children have a great time on site, exploring the fishing boat in the play area, or playing mini-golf on the Wizard of Oz course. Although lively in high season the site is much quieter in May and June making it ideal for young families. A path leads you through cool pine trees and over dunes to a fine sandy beach.
La Vallee at Houlgate
Situated in Normandy, La Vallee has a glorious rural setting and is not far from a sandy beach and the Edwardian seaside town of Houlgate. This pretty park is scattered with flowering hedges and fruit trees, with some of the excellent facilities. At the heart of site is a beautifully converted Norman manor house in which you will find a bar that overlooks the pool complex. In addition to the pools, one with a new slide, and well-equipped play area, there is an the park entertainment team who arrange a wide variety of activities for the whole family, including discos in the games room and Karaoke nights. Please note that some train noise can be heard in some areas.
Les Genets at St Jean Plage
Surrounded by attractive woodland, the excellent facilities make Les Genets ideal for a family holiday. Older children will particularly enjoy a holiday at this lively campsite. The focal point is the outstanding watermark with jacuzzi, waterslides, water chute and lazy-river as well as spacious sun terraces and a new modern bar just been added. A short stroll takes you to a beautiful sandy beach or you can explore the woods and dunes along the coast. This site is three quarters of a mile from Merlin Plage, and four miles from St Jean-de-Monts.
Camping Acapulco at St Jean-Plage
The facilities on site are superb and include a landscaped pool complex, which offers five waterslides with their own splash pool, a children's pool and a swimming pool, a new jacuzzi pool opened in 2010. Overlooking the complex is the bright and attractive bar area, housed in a white washed, terracotta tiled building typical of the Vendee. Domaine D'Oleron at Ile de Oleron
The park is located in a quiet area of St. Georges D'Oleron with good access to the many cyclist-only roads that run around the island. The 'Plaisance' beach offers a broad sweep of golden sand and the unusual sight of Fort Boyard close by. Out and about, you are just 1km from the Saumonards forest, and you will find the town itself to be a quaint little place, dedicated to fishing and the oyster industry. Domaine D'Oleron is ideal for those families who intend to visit attractions off park during their stay, with many beautiful beaches in easy reach. The small bar and takeaway service are situated in a poolside marquee.
Paris Est-Champigny at Paris Est-Champigny
If you are planning to visit Disneyland Paris or the many delights of Paris itself, the Paris Est campsite provides the perfect holiday base. Disneyland Paris is just 30 minutes from the park which means that you can not enjoy the park over more than 1 day if preferred (well worth it as it saves your feet!).
