La Plage is a most pretty park, with direct accessto the beach. It is neatly divided by trees and hedges and set amidst the well-kept gardens of an old Breton farmhouse. It boasts a popular, small swimming pool with waterslide, it's also just a short walk from a shop, take-away and bar/restaurant with lovely sea views. All sorts of activities are organised for children in high summer and older ones can also join in the fun at occasional concerts in the bar. Beyond the park, La Trinite-sur-Mer, originally a small fishing port, is now an important centre for the yachting fraternity and also has a popular market.

Le Ranolien is really quite stunning. Colourful hedges and trees blend into the pink granite boulders of the coastline, which allows for some highly individual pitches, as well as easy access to nearby beaches. The owners are continually investing in park facilities, including a mini-cinema and there is a magnificent pool complex which features an impressive array of outdoor pools and water-slides, including a covered, heated pool that's available throughout the season. There is a state of the art spa on site providing a wide range of treatments ready when you need a little extra pampering and relaxing. Away from the site there is an excellent choice of beaches ranging from rocky inlets to sandy coves. Some traffic noise can be heard from certain parts of the park.

Parc des Alicourts offers plenty to do within its spacious grounds. There are masses of organised activities for children, as well as an imaginative adventure play area overlooked by the bar terrace. There's a good restaurant, a 9 hole golf course and a large, clean lake with sandy beach, canoes and pedalos, you won't want to leave the park. Located just outside the sleepy village of Pierrefitte, you are still within easy reach of many of the Loire's most elegant chateaux.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.

A park run children's club offers activities for children aged 4-12. The new indoor spa pool includes massage, sauna and fitness centre. On site activities include volleyball; football; mini golf; tennis and table tennis; pedalo; canoe and bike hire and even a 9 hole golf course. There is also fishing on the lake with equipment hire available. The restaurant and take away allows you a well earned break from cooking while the entertainment including quizzes a family disco and cabaret complete the evening. For culture Paris is 2 hours by train and there are numerous chateau open for visiting around the region.

It is located close to the beach, just a ten minute walk, and five miles south of the busy town of St Jean-de-Monts (which also has some great beaches). There is also an excellent children's play area, which along with the many activities makes this a popular family resort. Situated in the delightful little town of La Tranche, Bel is a quiet family run park.
