With 250 acres of chateau parkland and woods, this site is extremely popular with our customers, particularly teenagers, and becomes very lively in high season. Les Ormes also offers you an extensive range of good facilities, together with an even more impressive range of activities. Golf and riding take pride of place on the sporting agenda however, as the park has its own 18 hole course, complete with an exclusive clubhouse for golfers and horse riding school offering rides for all ages and treks for all abilities. You can also play tennis, ramble through the vast and beautiful estate, or you may just want to enjoy the splendid water park style pool complex, with new wave pool and covered pool. You can get a refreshing drink at the lakeside bar, or perhaps on the terrace next to the swimming pool complex where lots of evening entertainment is on offer. Children will love the watermark with its four-lane waterslide and the newly built indoor pool complex. There is also a recently built outdoor wave pool, great fun for all the family to enjoy. Pedalos can be hired on the campsite lake. There is a cosy pub with lakeside terrace and restaurant, plus all-weather football pitch and an activity programme all season. Dol-de-Bretagne is 8km away.
Sol a Gogo at St Hilaire, Vendee
The Camping Sol-a -Gogo is a well kept park with direct access to a superb beach. Just a short stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes, the park has a fantastic swimming pool complex with water chutes, waterslides and a covered pool. In high summer the park entertainers organise a range of family activities including regular discos in the bar. Some noise may be heard from the local road. The park is close to the lively resorts of St Hilaire and St Jean de Monts.
Paris Est-Champigny at Paris Est-Champigny, Paris
If you are planning to visit Disneyland Paris or the many delights of Paris itself, the Paris Est campsite provides the perfect holiday base. Disneyland Paris is just 30 minutes from the park which means that you can not enjoy the park over more than 1 day if preferred (well worth it as it saves your feet!). The same can be said of exploring Paris to, which is just 10km from the campsite.The park itself is situated in 20 acres of wooded parkland, so a peaceful retreat after a hard days exploring. The amenities on the park are relatively simple including a basic shop. Also close by is the Tremblay Leisure Park, which has lots of sporting facilities on offer.
Interlude at Ile de Re, Vendee
This park is the perfect place to relax, unwind and get away from it all. The pool complex has something for everyone including indoor and outdoor pool areas, as well as a shallow area for toddlers. A short walk from the park is a fantastic beach; the island is surrounded by brilliant beaches perfect for swimming and wind surfing. For those who want to explore there are many cycle paths around the island, or Ile de Re can be reached via a toll bridge. Soleil Plage at Vitrac, Dordogne
Soleil Plage enjoys a superb setting that is perfect for a family holiday, lying on the banks of the gently flowing Dordogne. It has two small beaches, both situated on one of the loveliest stretches of the river, which are favourite spots for both swimming and canoeing. The park itself offers you an excellent heated pool complex, with waterslides for the children and a Jacuzzi for you to laze in. And at the end of the day, you'll find that the excellent restaurant, which is just one of the amenities housed in converted Parigordin farm buildings, makes for a wonderful evening. Sarlat is only a short drive from the park and the beautiful riverside towns of La Roque-Gageac and Beynac are both accessible by road or river.
La Baume at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
Its excellent range of facilities has made La Baume one of the most popular parks on the French Riviera. You'd think that the magnificent pool complex with its four lane waterslide would be the unrivalled centrepiece of this lively park.
