With 250 acres of chateau parkland and woods, this site is extremely popular with our customers, particularly teenagers, and becomes very lively in high season. Les Ormes also offers you an extensive range of good facilities, together with an even more impressive range of activities. Golf and riding take pride of place on the sporting agenda however, as the park has its own 18 hole course, complete with an exclusive clubhouse for golfers and horse riding school offering rides for all ages and treks for all abilities. You can also play tennis, ramble through the vast and beautiful estate, or you may just want to enjoy the splendid water park style pool complex, with new wave pool and covered pool. You can get a refreshing drink at the lakeside bar, or perhaps on the terrace next to the swimming pool complex where lots of evening entertainment is on offer. Children will love the watermark with its four-lane waterslide and the newly built indoor pool complex. There is also a recently built outdoor wave pool, great fun for all the family to enjoy. Pedalos can be hired on the campsite lake. There is a cosy pub with lakeside terrace and restaurant, plus all-weather football pitch and an activity programme all season. Dol-de-Bretagne is 8km away.
Domaine de la Yole at Valras Plage, Languedoc
With a sandy beach a short walk away and a smart pool complex on site, this park is perfect for a family holiday. Domaine de la Yole is a large, lively site, just one and a half miles from Valras Plage, and ideal for families with younger children. The site has 2 pools in a nicely landscaped area. The park benefits from some shading by poplar trees which provides welcome shade during the hottest parts of the day. There is a large bar with terrace, a popular place for rounding off the day.
Esterel at St Raphael, Cote d'Azur
This first rate, steeply terraced park with its ochre buildings blends into the scenery so well that when you first set eyes on the glorious swimming pools, they create a quite startling contrast. The heated, jungle themed children's pool is not to be missed. Esterel really is a perfect holiday location, with an excellent restaurant and disco on the park and a night club and golf courses close by. The Esterel hills, with their wooded slopes and pink outcrops, are also truly breathtaking. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers, with many superb walks, from gentle strolls to robust hikes. For more sophisticated pleasures, you are also just a couple of miles drive through a wooded valley to Agay, with its pavement cafes and sandy beach.
Yelloh Village la Foret at St Julien, Vendee
Yelloh! Village la For?t, tucked away from the bustle of Les Sables d?Olonne amidst rolling meadowland, is a small site set in the grounds of a ch?teau. The campsite facilities are set in converted buildings in the courtyard ? the bar is housed in the old stables, while the restaurant with open fire and oak-beamed ceiling is in an ivy-clad outhouse. Head through the stone archway into the ch?teau gardens and to the two covered pools beyond. Here you?ll find plenty of space to relax, plus a fun water slide for the children. There is also a football pitch, badminton court and playground. Keen fishermen can unwind in peace at one of the three lakes, settling down for a spot of carp and roach fishing in idyllic surroundings.
Les Chateau des Marais at Chambord, Loire Valley
With spacious grounds set in peaceful wooded surroundings, this is an ideal venue for families with young children. The park has excellent facilities including a great pool complex with waterslides, a lazy river, a covered pool and a spacious sun terrace. An indoor spa, jaccuzi and Turkish bath with massage are available. The restaurant, take-away and shop have all been built of local oak to blend in with the surroundings. Some noise may be heard from the nearby road. The site is a five minute walk from the village of Muides-sur-Loire.

This large, family run park simply bustles with activities and offers an exceptional range of amenities, including a large and highly appealing tropical pool complex. Unusually, Scuba diving lessons are available in the pool, free windsurfing, tennis, mini golf and even a free bus service to the beach. Evenings here are often spent in the open air bar, which doubles as the venue for regular late night cabaret and karaoke throughout the season. While beyond the park, you will enjoy the spectacular Pyrenees that form the dramatic backdrop to the spacious, sandy beaches and the park itself.
Chateau lez Eaux at St Pair-sur-Mer, Normandy
Located close to the main route down the Cherbourg peninsula, this is a quiet, friendly 'Castels' park with a versatile location. On the one hand it's a great place to simply relax while you soak up the atmosphere and enjoy its beautiful setting in the grounds of the manor house. At the same time, it's ideally placed for stopovers. But whatever you come for, you'll find it an absolute delight. There are excellent facilities here, which include a beautifully landscaped and recently remodelled, covered water park that's complete with slides and water chutes, great fun for all ages. Don't forget your fishing rod either, as you're welcome to try your luck on the little lake, free of charge. Ideal for young families, the friendly owners work extremely hard to make your stay here enjoyable.
La Yole at St Jean Plage, Vendee
La Yole is one of the most popular sites in the region. It is located just two miles from the beach of Les Mouettes in a restful setting and family atmosphere. There are a number of pools including an indoor pool, water-slide, paddling pool and play area - lots to entertain all the family. The restaurant, offers a varied menu, and pleasant bar overlook the swimming pools. Evening entertainment, held at the bar can get quite lively during high season and may be heard from some parts of the site.
Aloha Village at Serignan Plage, Languedoc
Aloha Village is the ideal place for families who want to fill every moment of the day, and evening too. It offers two bars, a pizzeria, restaurant and ice-cream parlour, not to mention the large pool for swimmers as well as a fun pool complete with waterslide. There's also tennis, a gym and a multi-sport area for football, volleyball and basketball. 500m away there are stables for horse riding and pony trekking. During the day, there is a busy kids club, while most evenings are filled with lively entertainment for all. Yet despite all this, it's also a wonderful place to simply relax.
La Pergola at Lac de Chalain, Jura
Situated alongside the turquoise green waters of the Lac de Chalain and awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, this steeply terraced park has a friendly, family atmosphere with a range of well-maintained facilities. These include a superb pool complex with sunbathing area and a flower decked bar restaurant terrace. The Jura is a wonderful region for exploring; the Herisson Waterfalls make for a spectacular day out. There's also a lakeside beach where you can swim or canoe and the area is a walker's paradise, with rolling countryside and cascading waterfalls just waiting to be discovered.
Le Clarys Plage at St Jean Plage, Vendee
The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
Camping le Vieux Port at Messanges, Gascony
Located at the entrance to Camping le Vieux Port are the indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides, jacuzzi and wave pool as well as a separate paddling pool for the children. The site offers all you need during your stay, with a friendly restaurant, lively bar and well stocked supermarket. During high season the campsite run an excellent entertainment programme including live music, cabaret and theme nights.
Yelloh Villages les Mouettes at Carantec, Brittany
The pool complex is just one of the amazing features of this Yelloh site. Little ones will love splashing around by the fountains and under the bridges, meanwhile can relax on the large sun terraces. In addition a new indoor pool is planned for 2010. Short tennis and mini-golf are ideal for children, while adults can unwind in the bubbling jacuzzi. In the evening you can relax on the bar terrace while the children migrate to the indoor games room or to the disco. A road leads you down from the site to a small beach where children can explore the rock pools with their nets at low tide.
Ty Nadan at Arzano, Brittany
Ty Nadan offers excellent facilities, not least of which are three outdoor pools, an indoor pool and spa with an impressive waterslide and twisting water chute. With an indoor complex for badminton and rock climbing this park is perfect for active families, with evening entertainment for everyone organised throughout the season. Its wooded parkland setting is ideal for exploring on foot or on horseback and more energetic activities such as river canoeing, sea kayaking and guided mountain bike tours are also available. Despite these varied activities it's still a relaxing setting. In fact, in early and late summer the park is especially suited to those wanting a quiet holiday with small children and having direct access to the sandy banks of the river Elle it really comes into it's own.
Camping la Foret at St Jean de Monts, Vendee
With a friendly atmosphere and good facilities, Camping la Foret is popular holiday park. The pool area has a lovely sunbathing terrace and is the ideal place to laze in the sun while the children enjoy the heated pools. The long sandy beach is just a short walk away and there are a number of other beaches close by. The site is also not far from the busy seaside town of St. Jean-de-Monts to which has an excellent range of restaurants. The resort of Notre-Dame-de-Monts is also just a few kilometres away.
Le Soleil de Landes at Lit et Mixe, Gascony
Le Soleil des Landes is just 7 km from one of the C?te d'Argent?s most lovely beaches and yet is situated in 24 acres of woodlands - it really does offer the best of both worlds! So you have the choice of spending your days taking part in water sports like surfing and sailing or exploring the forest by foot or horse - but then again you could just relax by the pool. The holiday parc as an excellent water park that includes a heated swimming pool (with retractable roof), paddling pool for the kids and waterslides for the whole family.
Chateau de Drancourt at St Valery, Picardy
Being situated just three miles from St Valery and amidst the lush meadows of a private chateau; this Castels site has lovely spacious parklands. The owners have created a family atmosphere with some excellent facilities situated around the chateau include swimming pools surrounded by a sun terrace. Children will love the play areas and the three pools, one of which is covered, while the golf range is popular with absolutely everyone. For the active there are tennis, mountain bike hire and a golf driving range. The restaurant and cosy lounge bar are perfect places to spend the evening. There are many wide, sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline.
La Chapelle at Argeles Plage, Languedoc
Situated just 50m from the bustling resort of Argeles, La Chapelle is only 200m from a long sandy beach. The pitches on the park are large and grassy and are situated to the rear of the site with mature trees providing some shade on the majority of pitches. The pool complex is a great place to meet other holidaymakers or simply top up your tan and relax with a good book. For changes of scene why not visit Perpignan, the nearest city to the park, or if you want to travel a little further, Barcelona is also within reach for a day trip.
La Baume at Frejus, Cote d'Azur
Its excellent range of facilities has made La Baume one of the most popular parks on the French Riviera. You'd think that the magnificent pool complex with its four lane waterslide would be the unrivalled centrepiece of this lively park. However, in addition there is a completely separate and beautifully designed lagoon pool with its own slides. And there is also a covered pool on two levels, with slides, jacuzzi and steam room. The park's first class facilities also include two bars, restaurant and tennis courts, play area, take-away and fitness room. There are also plenty of lovely beaches nearby and come the evening you can choose between live entertainment or dancing the night away in the park's own disco. Please note that road noise can sometimes be heard on site.
