With a sandy beach a short walk away and a smart pool complex on site, this park is perfect for a family holiday. Domaine de la Yole is a large, lively site, just one and a half miles from Valras Plage, and ideal for families with younger children. The site has 2 pools in a nicely landscaped area. The park benefits from some shading by poplar trees which provides welcome shade during the hottest parts of the day. There is a large bar with terrace, a popular place for rounding off the day.
La Garangeoire at St Julien des Landes, Vendee
Part of the prestigious Castels chain of parks, La Garangeoire is a splendid site. Although just a 15 minute drive from the Vendee beaches, the park is set in breathtakingly beautiful woods, meadows and lakes. Chateau de Drancourt at St Valery, Picardy
Ideally placed for the Channel ports, this 'Castels' park enjoys a picturesque location in the gardens of Chateau de Drancourt, with many facilities that make it ideal for a great family holiday. Children will love the play areas and the three pools, one of which is covered, while the golf range is popular with absolutely everyone. There are also some beautifully converted stables, which provide a focal point for many other activities. Les Ecureuils at St Hilaire, Vendee

There's also a splendid adventure playground, tennis, table tennis, and all sorts of games and sports events during the busy summer months, when the atmosphere is extremely lively. Delightful Bordeaux and bustling Bayonne are also both within easy reach by car.
Six Four les Plages at Six Four les Plages, Riviera
Coastal trails meander along hidden inlets and creeks all the way to the lovely fishing port of Le Brusc, with its animated nightlife. Coudouliere, situated on the coast between Sanary sur Mer and Le Brusc, features shady woodland, freshwater lakes and lily ponds. Grand and imposing, it consists of modern apartments facing onto a large swimming pool. Despite its mediaeval architecture and quiet churches, Six Fours is a vibrant sports resort with scuba diving, deep sea fishing, kayaking and windsurfing. The traditions and crafts of Provence can be seen in the local festivals and markets.
La Croix du Vieux Pont at Berny Riviere, Champagne
This park offers a well equipped pool complex with an indoor and heated outdoor pool; jacuzzi; 2 waterslides and small slides for the little ones. If that is not enough there are multiple playgrounds with trampolines and go-karts; mini golf; tennis and table tennis and also archery (open from 1st May). The restaurant offers meals for those days when you do not want to cook or alternatively try the pizzeria. On site is a supermarket and separate bakery offering freshly baked bread daily.
