La Croix du Vieux Pont at Berny Riviere, Paris
This park has a great location, being easy to reach from Calais or Paris. Situated within walking distance of Vic-sur-Aisne, this attractive park has is ideal for children with a special parkland play area, 3 pools (one of which is under cover). These are overlooked by the terrace bar and restaurant, which are attractively housed in rustic farm buildings. You can hire pedalos and canoes on the small campsite lake. L'Oceano d'Or at Jard-sur-Mer, Vendee

Les Mouettes at Carantec, Brittany
Les Mouettes is situated near one of the most beautiful bays on the Breton coast. Carantec has a feeling of peace and spaciousness that makes it a popular choice with families. Mature trees and shrubs enhance the park area where most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded but, there are also some large, sunny pitches. Les Grottes de Roffey at Sarlat, Dordogne
Les Grottes de Roffy is a family favourite. It has three pools in an excellent complex which is the park's centrepiece and the facilities here are good all round, with tennis as well as a children's play area. There is also a charming and reasonably priced restaurant which is so good it's even enjoyed by the locals, despite the presence of many first rate alternatives nearby. Pitches here are on a series of terraces, some with views over the idyllic countryside that surrounds the park and the rural setting also offers many delightful walks amongst the patchwork woods and fields.
Camping la Foret at St Jean de Monts, Vendee
With a friendly atmosphere and good facilities, Camping la Foret is popular holiday park. The pool area has a lovely sunbathing terrace and is the ideal place to laze in the sun while the children enjoy the heated pools. The long sandy beach is just a short walk away and there are a number of other beaches close by. The site is also not far from the busy seaside town of St. Jean-de-Monts to which has an excellent range of restaurants. The resort of Notre-Dame-de-Monts is also just a few kilometres away.

The little ones will love the "Aventure Parc", a leisure and nature park at Biscarrosse-Plage approximately 6 km away. There are 17 hiking trails and 100km of cycle paths nearby, perfect for day trips. The apartments are pleasantly laid out around the golf course, many with attractive open views of the green, swimming pool or pine forest.
