Situated in the delightful little town of La Tranche, Bel is a quiet family run park. While small and relatively quiet, it offers you a lovely swimming pool with a small water slide as well as a super Scandinavian style play area, all of which makes it especially suited to families with young children. It is also just 500m from the longest south-facing beach in the Vendee, where you can swim and sunbathe, before trying a spot of windsurfing on the 'marine lake'. Holiday Green is a well maintained site with a large Californian pool complex which is great fun for all the family and includes a children's pool with water games. It also has a new covered heated pool, toboggans, solarium and Jacuzzi. To keep the kids happy, a whole range of activities are held throughout the season and there are aqua aerobics, water polo and water volleyball tournament and in July and August swimming lessons, fun water-skiing and even deep-sea diving instruction. The park has a restaurant, bar, supermarket, fitness room, tennis court, boules pitch, archery and mountain biking. There is also free evening entertainment and themed restaurant nights. Due to the undulating nature of the terrain on this park and the placement of some of the pitches on quite steep terraces, this park is not ideal for elderly customers or those with mobility problems.
