If you are into wildlife there is a boat trip to the sanctuaries of the Glenan Islands. Cap Coz is perfectly placed as a base to explore Brittany's famous landscapes and busy market towns.

The park has a feeling of peace and spaciousness and coupled with the excellent facilities makes it popular with families. Most of the pitches are grassy and some are partly shaded; the park is looked after to a high standard with mature trees and shrubs enhancing the area. Les Mouettes offers a fantastic pool complex including a lazy river and magnificent slides and planned for 2010 is a covered pool. Morlaix is worth visiting with its pretty setting along a river estuary and its old, cobbled shopping streets.

In the evening, the friendly bar and restaurant make an excellent place for a family meal or relaxing drink.

There's also a superb outdoor pool with waterslide, as well as an indoor pool and a fountain that children always seem to love. In the evening, you can have a relaxing drink in the bar, which is also the scene of regular family discos in high season, or perhaps enjoy a meal in the equally pleasant restaurant. There are several shops not too far from the park, including a well-stocked supermarket, which is open from June onwards.
Les Menhirs at Carnac Plage, Brittany
The ideal choice for a family beach holiday with the bustling seaside resort of Carnac Plage within a 5 minute stroll. The park itself features an excellent swimming pool complex, with a giant waterslide and water chute, covered pool and even a little slide into the children's pool. Children can also go for pony rides just off the park, while adults can hire bikes to go around the peninsula as well as enjoying the small gym, solarium and jacuzzi and a number of games such as football, basketball and boules. You can also play tennis, ramble through the vast and beautiful estate, or you may just want to enjoy the splendid water park style pool complex, with new wave pool and covered pool. You can get a refreshing drink at the lakeside bar, or perhaps on the terrace next to the swimming pool complex where lots of evening entertainment is on offer. Children will love the watermark with its four-lane waterslide and the newly built indoor pool complex. There is also a recently built outdoor wave pool, great fun for all the family to enjoy. Pedalos can be hired on the campsite lake. There is a cosy pub with lakeside terrace and restaurant, plus all-weather football pitch and an activity programme all season. Dol-de-Bretagne is 8km away.

Although just a 15 minute drive from the Vendee beaches, the park is set in breathtakingly beautiful woods, meadows and lakes. With many generous and largely un-shaded pitches, you are able to explore many of the delightful well marked walks. There is no shortage of things to do with tennis, fishing and boating on the lake. The modern restaurant and bar overlooking the superb pool and the cosy pub style bar offer a pleasant evening.

The park has excellent facilities including a great pool complex with waterslides, a lazy river, a covered pool and a spacious sun terrace. One of the main attractions is the impressive swimming pool complex overlooked by the bar terrace, where the children will enjoy floating along the lazy river surrounding the huge water chutes. They can also try their hand at the unusual 18-hole crazy-golf course, not forgetting the beach is just 1.5km away. The picturesque old port of Roscoff is near by and offers boat trips to the island of Batz.

The high point of many people's holiday here is the wonderful swimming pool complex with its sun terraces, outdoor pool, choice of water-slides, heated indoor pool and even a jacuzzi. And yet, the magnificent beach at Merlin Plage is just a short stroll away, with the beaches of St Jeande- Monts just a little further. Even so, superb swimming facilities and wonderful beaches are only a small part of the reason for coming to this super park. There is an excellent children's play area here, and activities are first class too, with lively regular entertainment in the bar throughout the season, sometimes going on quite late in high summer. There are also several restaurants open nearby in the height of the season. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main park facilities.
La Yole at St Jean Plage, Vendee
Offering an array of swimming pools that includes an indoor pool, waterslide, paddling pool and spacious play area, this is very much a park for families. The park owners are very proud of their park and are keen for park regulations to be respected. Just a little way from the coast road, La Yole also offers you a beautiful beach nearby and two super resorts just down the road. Out and about, you'll find chic St. Jean de Monts just up the coast which offers a nice change of pace. There's a lovely air of relaxation about this part of the Vendee too, with its myriad of cosy cafes and seaside stalls selling local wine and produce. And should you just want to explore, you'll find that the whole area is covered with fragrant pine forests.

There is much to see here the Ile de Penotte, a picturesque old quarter in the town centre with pedestrian alleys and facades decorated with shells by a local artist, not to mention the La Chaume quarter, where the city originated, the fishermen's district, with the Place Sainte Anne and its magnificent trompe l'il fresco. And don't miss the delicious food market or fishing port where you can find fish at its freshest. The historical theme park, Le Grand Parc du Puy du Fou is also just 92km away. Located in the Vendee, a region famous for its long sandy beaches, close to Les Sables d'Olonne, Residence L'Estran is a hotel and residence located between the Puits d'Enfer, a deep cleft in the cliff into which the sea comes crashing at high tide, and the town centre.
